Office Overview
Introduction
The Office of International Promotion and Outreach (OIPO) is a top-level unit within the university dedicated to enhancing NYCU’s brand visibility and image. Our primary activities include managing NYCU’s official external website (English version) and international social media platforms to strengthen the university’s global presence. We specialize in project-based audiovisual production for international promotion and provide media support services for large-scale university events, showcasing the institution’s dynamism and diversity.
Additionally, we are committed to integrating new media applications, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies, as well as designing and utilizing mascots or virtual characters. Through these innovative approaches, we help NYCU expand its influence in the digital media domain. To better achieve these goals, we actively integrate resources across university departments, collaborating with units such as the Secretariat/Division of Public Relations, Office of International Affairs, Center for Institutional Research and Data Analytics/Communications and Outreach Division, Library/NYCU Elite, and NCTU Alumni Voice. Together, we form a strong team dedicated to advancing NYCU’s brand and promotional efforts, enhancing the university’s visibility on the international stage.
Organizational Structure
Vision
We strive to position NYCU as a distinguished institution on the international stage, leading innovation, pushing the boundaries of academic disciplines, and cultivating exceptional talent with a global perspective. We aim to establish a globally recognized and influential brand image for NYCU.
Through an integrated marketing strategy that combines online and offline engagement, we are committed to proactively and passively reaching diverse audiences, showcasing NYCU’s academic excellence, vibrant campus life, and positive societal contributions to the world. Our vision extends beyond enhancing the university’s visibility; we aim to attract international students and exceptional faculty and staff, creating an internationally diverse academic community. Leveraging new media, we aspire to broadcast NYCU’s values and spirit to a broader audience. By fostering partnerships, we aim to promote educational and cultural exchanges, build a globally impactful academic brand, and lay a solid foundation for NYCU’s future development.
